CONSTITUTION NOTICE:  At the September 20th Annual Meeting, the congregation will be asked to change C5.05 of our constitution to say that we have a Mission Endowment Fund. We will also vote to delete C9.03.01 which duplicates C9.04.01. A copy of the resolutions is posted on the kiosk. 

PREPARE FOR THE CELEBRATION:  Mark your calendar for September 27, 2026, when we will celebrate with a special service for Calvary’s 75th anniversary.  Invite former members or neighbors to join in.  Plans are being made for an exciting morning, a pot luck meal featuring 1950s cuisine, lots of music, guests, and activities.

REPORTS DUE:  If applicable, please plan on turning in your September Chimes articles by Monday, August 24th, and annual reports by Monday, August 31st.  Thank you for your cooperation!

WORLD HUNGER SUNDAY:  August has 5 Sundays, so on August 30th, we will be taking a special collection for World Hunger.  

FREE:  There are DVDs and CDs on the table by the kiosk.  These are free - Take them home.

SCANDINAVIAN BAKE SALE:  October 10, 2026, 8:30 am to 1 pm. Plan ahead to bake items, to order Lefse, and to invite your neighbors.

HOPE IN A BACKPACK: Now thru August 31, donations for Hope in a Backpack can be made at any IncredibleBank location, or use the QR code below to make a donation. and they will match contributions, up to $2,500.  This program helps students who rely on school meals to also have meals for the weekend.  Each week, local schools receive discreetly packed backpacks filled with healthy, easy-to-prepare food to help when school meals are unavailable.
