REMINDER:  Campground Worship services will be starting Memorial Weekend, which is not the last weekend in May, but the 4th weekend due to the end of the month, May 31st, falling on a Sunday this year!  This means the first Campground services will be Sunday, May 24th …   spread the word!

WORLD HUNGER:  The month of May brings us another World Hunger Sunday on the 5th Sunday, which is 5/31/2026!  Be prepared to surrender your pocket change along with any other donation you wish to make… generosity on the last World Hunger Sunday was inspiring!

FREDERICK PLACE MEAL:  Thank you to all who have provided the food for the Frederick Place meals.  We have taken on providing one supper each month.  We received a gushing thank you note from the residents for the meals we have taken to them; they even requested a recipe! That Thank You note has been posted on the kiosk.  Keep up the great support in feeding the homeless.

The next meal that Calvary is providing for Frederick Place will be Saturday, May 23rd.  Check the kiosk for the sign-up sheet for food items needed to prepare this meal.

WELCA:  This week, Calvary WELCA has a special offering (In a CWELCA envelope) to support the various projects and programs that are done locally and beyond which our group works through.

SYNOD ASSEMBLY:  Will meet Saturday at Immanuel Church in Rhinelander for our conference.  Kathy Hoffmann and Penny Ravey are representing our congregation at the assembly.

LWR KITS: Thank you all for the towels for Personal Care Kits.  Now we need to concentrate on Baby Care Kits.  For those we need:  HAND towels, also in dark colors, 4 oz size Ivory soap bars, baby socks, and sleepers for 6 mo. to 24 mo. sizes.

Your sewing skills are needed!  School bags are cut out and instructions are provided.  (These are on the wooden table topped with laundry baskets.)  32 bags have been completed and are filled with the prescribed supplies.  We hope to have many, many more done by the end of August.
